The occasion was CITA 2000 or 2001 (I don’t remember the exact year). At the back there were also Julio y Corina, Fabian Salas and other famous tango dancers. In this clip the music and the motion are not synchronized. The music is much faster than what it should be.

You are right of course about the speed – probably problems in digitising an old video tape? Your comment in fact reminded me that I have seen a similar choreography for La Cumparsita in the official CITA 2002 videos. It was in fact only a touch slower than this clip…
