Milonga in History
Had a wonderful milonga last night at the Singapore History Museum, thanks to the organisation by Kace and decorations from Janet.
It has been a while since a milonga was organised in Singapore. Last night’s event also marked the return of Ricardo Gallo and Gladys Fernandez to Singapore. The night started with a beginner’s workshop, followed by some light refreshments and then the main event. It was well attended by between 30 to 40 people.
I can persoanlly vouch that dancing on sound-proof floorings, kindly donated by Pergo, was a wonderful experience. It was not overly slippery and the nice texture gives a very classy feel. The only gripe was that the museum closed at 12am (although this was already way after their usual closing time). 🙁 Oh well, till next time!
