In the June issue of El Tangaura – one of the most authoritative magazines detailing tango happenings in Buenos Aires – two of the heavy-weights of tango scene, Julio Balmaceda and Milena Plebs shared some of their their thoughts on tango championships and dancing in general. Apart from being frank on some controversial topics, namely that of holding competitions for tango and the hidden risks of “fashions”, they also reveal certain secrets of their techniques.
